Finally, a photo did come through. It took me down memory lane to when I was a child living on Alameda Naval Air Station, where USS Ranger (CVA 61) was home ported. My Dad was a Hospital Corpsman (HM1-HMC) on one of the carriers there, USS Hancock (CVA 19). They were extremely impressive ships!
