Hi Chris,

There are many aftermarket products available for this kit, including turrets.  Click the link in my signature to see the turrets shown below and many more.

Chris, there is an email headed your way.

Try Tamiya USA customer service for your missing parts. Although there will likely be a delay due to the current covid-19 shut down in CA, as Tamiya USA is located in CA.

Here is a link for the instruction sheet

Here are some 3-D printed 16” main gun turrets and barrels for the kit. I’ve bought some Model Monkey 3-D stuff. It’s pretty nice.

Here's the answer to most everything you've asked, including a link to instructions.

The biggest challenge is that the build goes no where without the hull. It's even possible to build the kit without the lower hull, but that's not where you are at.

That needs to be solved before anything else, and the answer is a second kit. Whether it's an all new one ($ 116 on Amazon) or a used one is the question.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Hello!

While ship models are not my main interest, my first thought was to 3D-print those turrets. I have found one guy who makes them in 1:192

https://www.shapeways.com/product/Q9PGBDZRA/1-192-bb61-16-in-406-mm-50-cal-mark-7-a?optionId=146617883&li=marketplace

Maybe he would rescale them for you to 1:350?

This, or find a glue bomb and take the turrets from it - but kits like this were unlikely to end up as glue bombs, so this might not be too easy neither.

Anyhow - good luck with your Battleship and hae a nice day

Paweł

Got this kit from a friend who picked it up at a yard sale. Looks to be mostly complete except a few important items. No instructions and it looks like the main turrets and guns are missing. There is one bottom half but the other two and all three top half’s are missing. I don’t know the year of this kit so I’m curious if Tamiya can help with the missing parts? I know I can get metal guns but are there any aftermarket turrets?

Anyway, thanks for any info.
