Hasegawa 1/350 Yukikaze (WIP)
Posted by Viper101 on Saturday, May 30, 2020 12:43 PM

Hi All!

So here is a gallery of my WIP of the Yukikaze. I was impressed with how well the hull fit together, despite being in two pieces split down the middle.

Most everything fit well, but there is a LOT of flash on some of the pieces. The torpedo tubes had a bit that had to be sanded off. I don't think I did too good of a job showing that in the pictures, but I am in a very early stage thus far.

This is also my first time using an aftermarket PE set, and it's been a bit of a trial by fire for me, but the results are very nice looking, so I think it is worth it in the end. Next step is to paint everything and get more PE details added. My thoughts right now are to get most small details and PE added, and then paint it up.

I think I added the pictures correctly, but wouldn't be surprised if I didn't. I will fix it if not.

Thanks all,

Alex

Edit: Added a single picture from the gallery.

Edit 2: Added the rest of the pictures from said gallery.

Looks great!

BTW, you can do an insert of the image rather than the link.  Click on the icon that looks like an outdoor scene with mountains and a sun. When it asks you for the image location, just put in the URL.

Hi Don!

I thought I followed that procedure as needed. Apparently not!

I'll have to play around a little bit more to attach them correctly. It might be that I have to attach a picture individually.

Thanks for the tip!

I inserted links one by one for each image and that fixed it! Thanks again for the advice.
