Just saw an advert on the History channel that the Titanic will be the subject of this weekend's episode of History's Greatest Mysteries (or something like that).  It is the show hosted by Lawrence Fishburne.  Not PBS, but eh, something.  FYI

Interstingly, the article states the ship was US owned.  Dont know if I had forgotten that or not, but i thought it was British.  Probably bc if flew the British flag

It's a little complicated. The ship was owned by and flew the flag of the White Star Line, which was a British Company. That company in turn, along with a group of other shipping companies;was controlled by a conglomerate called International Mercantile Marine Company. That was a Trust run by J.P. Morgan.

I happen to notice in today's Wall Street Journal a listing and story for a Titanic documentary airing on PBS Nov. 4, 10pm.  Maybe more on the ship that did not respond.  Interstingly, the article states the ship was US owned.  Dont know if I had forgotten that or not, but i thought it was British.  Probably bc if flew the British flag.

Keep on modeling!

All the best,

William
