I've looked at it quite a bit, that and the T-800 Terminator. I do have to say they look very well done but holy cow on those prices ! Definately too rich for me.

goldhammer GMorrison Took a 1/2 hour reading through all the yap on their site. If I ever preorder something for so much money it better be red and have four wheels. Bill And have a black prancing/rearing horse emblem. Though if you add up a kit and every goodie A/M piece, paint and glues, you're almost there.

My father, sorry to repeat myself but he was a big deal in my eyes; went over to Europe a lot when I was young. He was the manager of the team that did not buy Concorde for UAL but did buy Caravelle when the Lockheed Electra fell through as a mid range fast schedule aircraft.
While he was in England he brought home Corgi and Humbrol stuff and while he was in France he brought home one by one a complete collection of Tintin books.
It is nice to see a company try to sell something unique. I think they try too hard to sell Bismarck as the greatest battleship ever, which most modelers probably don't fall down in awe over.
My Alfa had good points- dual side draft Weber carbs; and bad points; Magneti Marrelli electricals.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Tanker-Builder Hi Bill; I would say Black and Anthracite, Carry a lot, with Leather seats and a Turbo engine. A model for that much, Nah!. If it was a classic Pocher I could see it, Maybe? Makes me wonder what happened to D'Agostini?

He gave me gifts when he came through so mom felt ok feeding and lodging him.
He gave me some nice gifts. One was a Auto Union Grand Prix car, big scale about 8'" long. Probably got it for working a sausage plant in Dusseldorf.
Knock offs that unscrewed. True sprung chassis.
Die cast stuff is nice. I don't like sticking stuff together with epoxy though.
I wonder what the metal is.
Anyone else get the mail from Kalmbach/Finescale about Agora Models for sale?
Included in their list was a 200 scale Bismarck. I dug a bit into the listing. It is die cast with 1900 parts. It comes pre-painted. Included in the selling points are the motorized, rotating turrets & propellers, a foghorn which sounds, and the light up search lights (But wait, there is more). The pictures show PE railings. The kit is a subscription project available in 12 or 24 month installments. Including shipping & handling it will come out to roughly 1600 dollars American, slightly more to Canada or Mexico.
They also list Zeros, Shelby Cobras, and Terminator Exoskeletons
I think I'll pass
