Are Takom kits any good?  I have never seen one.

Built a couple of their 35th armour kits, FV 432 and Chieftain. very nice kits with great detail and no fit issues. They do seem to produce these kits based off photo's and seem to not know what they are looking at, which can lead to accuracy issues. I have noticed this with Meng kits as well. It was more of an issue with the 432 rather than the Chieftain.

Been interesting to see what other ships they come up with especially if they stick to ones other companies don't produce.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

CapnMac82, the German frigates are already built as last 1 was commissioned 2006. the 5 Spanish frigates https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%81lvaro_de_Baz%C3%A1n-class_frigate are not even similar to the 4 Dutch ships https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Zeven_Provinci%C3%ABn-class_frigate or the 3 German frigates.

Had a couple of armor kits a few years back.... okay detail, clean moldings, paint callouts for ammo/mig paint.  Haven't got anything recent.

What Navy is that for?

Three-nation compact, Netherlands, Germany, & Spain will each get some (initial agreement is three each, I think).

So a nice contract for Thyssen-Krupp Marine Systems who will build in in shipyards in each of the three nations.

The CAD images look nice. For subject matter it would look good alongside a Dragon/Trumpeter Burke Class and Airfix Type 45 on the display shelf.
