The Lindberg is the old Pyro kit, while the Tom's set is nominally designed for the separate Revell kit. The scales are close...reported as 1/240 and 1/232, respectively...so much is probably useable without much problem. But it's likely that things like railing sections designed specifically for one won't easily fit the other, though with a little planning and forethought, can most likely be adapted.
I have seen the Revell kit, but never the Lindberg one. Both have widely-reported detail issues, though the Revell kit almost universally gets the nod as the better kit in terms of accuracy. As I understand it, Pyro tends toward softer and more 'representative' (read 'made up') detail, with fewer parts and things like ladders molded to bulkheads rather than as separate pieces. (That suggests lots of things that would need to be shaved off to use either the TMW or Gold Medal photo-etch sets.)
