I reported that a month ago, still hasn't been taken care of yet. I also noticed that quick reply isn't working when I made this post. You would think that with 4 less issues to publish they should have some free time on their hands to perform some maintanence. Just sayin'...

I just plug in Finescale Modeler forum, open it up and log in. Very rarely go through the main site front door.

IT side not the publishing side, not even close.  But the issued will go away soon enough.

I just plug in Finescale Modeler forum, open it up and log in. Very rarely go through the main site front door.

This has nothing to do with the main site, logging in or the front door, it's the ability to navigate between pages on the forum is gone. As I stated, I reported this a month ago and Tim suggested I try a different browser. Looks like it's caught up with other browsers now as well.

I'm well aware of that, lets just say I saw an opening so I went there. On the bright side, the magical button that makes threads vanish into thin air still works ....

I'm having the same issue now with the small menu that looks like this "Home>FineScale Modeler>Forums>Modeling Subjects>Ships", and for me it just started this morning.  It was fine yesterday.  When you try to click on the "Home" part of that, it brings up a search box.  Something I noticed about that menu is that most of the "m" in "Home" is gone, which was really strange.  But when I use my own desktop shortcut to get back to the home screen, I see what the problem is.  When I look at the black "Recent Activity" banner, I can see a partial, white magnifying glass above the "Re" part.  That magnifying glass is what is causing the missing "m" of the "Home" button on that small menu I mentioned at the top of my post, and its what causes the search box to come up.  You just can't tell its a magnifying glass on that page, because the background is the same color (white).  It is an active button that is now laid over the top of the small navigation menu buttons, and those navigation buttons are now all inactive.  Anybody else see the same thing?  If it helps the IT people at all, I'm on Windows 10, using Google Chrome.  I just tried adjusting the magnification of my browser up and down, and that white magnifying glass scales with it and remains in exactly the same relative position to the other affected items, so its not a scaling issue between layers.

Kidwell reports elsewhere that they did a security update on the site and are now stomping out the errors that are scurrying about

I've got a new problem, though it may be with windows.  For threads with a lot of replies, I cannot use CTL-(DOWN ARROW) to go to last reply.

I second that.  Hoping to have things fixed by today or tomorrow?

Dang pop-up engines have been locking me up on the tablet, so I can now only naviate on the desktop, and even it feels like whack a mole when dealing with the pop-ups.

Boy, these fixes are taking a long time!  Wonder if the new font is worth it.  Personally, I like the old one better (eighty year old eyes).  Cant they just go back to the old one?

I was able to get to this forum through my "History", otherwise, I cannot get here today.

I hope they can streamline this website, its getting frustrating. I paid for a substcrition for less magazine and now have to deal with all this advertsing and poor site navigation.

Having to go to the Community Tab to select any other forum is annoying.

And, as we close in on twenty days' span--looks to e "the new normal"

Sigh.
