ERTL Chebec ship model
Posted by Captain Andy on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 9:08 PM

Just came across an ERTL Chebec 1/80 scale ship model in my attic which I bought about 50 years ago.  Would like to put it together but the instructions are missing.  Does anyone have a copy of the assembly instructions?

I know there is a site out there with a fantastic compilation of old instructions.  Can't remember who, however.  Was it Scalemates?  Try googling old model kit instructions.

I believe the same kit was also released under the Imai label. That might help to broaden your search.

Good luck.

I see a few for sale on ebay,  maybe you can ping one of them and ask them to copy the instructions for you.

Thanks,

John

Or probably just have a go at it.

Hello!

Do you still need the instructions?  I have them and can send them to you.

I found mine sooner!

Same situation. How to solve it? Well in my case, there's one sitting built in the living room. Took it to the bench and just used it as a go by. I don't know where the instructions went,But, I checked and four other kits are missing them too.

I wonder if the Instruction genii just decided to keep them?

Which kits of yours need instructions? If I have them I will be happy to send copies.
