1/200 Yamato

I just received this from Freetime Hobbies.  Gallery version, well packed and arrived unscathed.  I have two Nichimo kits of this in 1/200.  Those hull moldings are significantly thicker and heavier than this latest (Trumpeter/Gallery) release, which might explain why there is so much interior bracing already installed on the Gallery hull.  Exterior detail of hull far superior to Nichimo version.  From the instructions I've viewed, everything looks far superior to Nichimo in detail and accuracy.  Only nitpick is where is the rigging scheme?  Otherwise, what a kit!  Wondering if my Artwox decking set for the Nichimo might possibly work on this kit. 

With all the kids gone, I took over the back bedroom. I now have a proper hobby room!

I saw this and wondered if I could sneak it passed the better Half and where the hell would I put it. Also about $580 to  buy....YIKES

I'm about 75% complete with the Big MO. Got the Titanic , Yorktown and Enterprise (all in 1/200) lined up. Not sure whos next up on the building table! LOL

         I haven't pulled the trigger on the Missouri or Iowa yet!
