There may be an ELDRIDGE kit hiding in some hobby shop in Philadelphia.  Wink

IIRC, Shapeways offers a stack that will help you move toward  a Cannon DE from a Buckley.  Swap around guns from any of the other aftermarket suspects

Apparently Pit Road kitted one a while back.

She was a Cannon class Destroyer Escort. Lindberg, Trumpeter and Revell have all sold DE kits at one time or another, but not of this class.

I decided that I wanted to build a model of the U.S.S. Eldridge and maybe/maybe not display it near the ammo can I have from the ship.  I went to look up the kit at a couple web stores and found that I couldn't look for it.  No matter how many or different times I tried to search for it the closest I could get was the USS ridge.  This brought up things like the Blueridge and some other ships but never did let me look up the Eldridge.  I can't explain it.  This just seems odd considering what they did with that boat.
