Takom Turrets

Builder2010 just finished his amazing Iowa turret with 100% scratch built everything  below the turret.

I will also add the kit monofilament for the railings doesn't work, and needs to be replaced, probably with ez line.

I have just finished the Yamato main turret and also the anchor kit. Sanding the barrel seams is a big tedious job.

The turret is quite large.  Google Fine Scale Yamato turret and you see the FS build.

I haven't posted photos here i ages. I will have to re-learn how.  I have quite a few finished builds that I have been knocking off since the lockdowns.

I looked at the Yamato Type 60 15.5 cm triple gun turret on Sprue Bros. 

7.87 in. x 5.51 in. x 4.72 in.

Seems a pretty reasonable size.
