Hello - not sure if this is the correct forum for this question, but I inherited a beautifully detailed 24" scale model of the SS Normandie that my father commissioned from a professional model building company. I am significantly paring down my 'collectibles' and would like to find a nice home for it. Not trying to sell it, but wondered if anyone here can suggest a museum or similar venue that would be interested in a donation for display. Can send some pictures if that would be helpful. Please PM me if you have any suggestions. Thanks.
You might contact the Chicago Hilton. They have a lounge that has panels and artifacts from the ship. It could be a nice display.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
There is a great museum in Cunnecticut, Mystic Seaport. Highly renowned.
