I recently bought a cheap wooden POB kit from  GAWEGM, a Chinese junk called the Green Eyebrows.  It was only 13 bucks.  I figured I would take a chance at that price!  It seems to be a workable kit.  Main problem is the instructions are in some language I do not understand, but there are drawings that I believe will allow me to build it.  Here is the first photo.

It is a laser cut kit about 8inches long, and the laser cutting is very good,

Haven't seen a "junk" build in a long time. Always wanted one for my collection but couldn't find a good one at a decent price. Saw one that looked great in a Micro Mark catalog but it was a little more than my wallet could afford at the time. This one sounds great so I'll keep watching and maybe it will be the one to get.

Stay safe.

Bill, thanks for that link! Tons of info. Glued to the computer for a couple of hours reading and digesting all of it. Bookmarked it for when I get a kit.

Stay safe.

Hi!

If the plans are clear you should be able to see it through to completion! I got a wood kit in the garage. It has a pile of wood and frame parts and material to build a building board too!

It's possibly a model of a Viking Longboat. Based on some of the Stem parts. My gosh the planks are even shaped, but goodness they are thin. I may soak them in Medium hot water to bend them!

Okay, got it planked now.  A couple of small gaps need a bit of filler, but I am satisfied.

Not bad for 13 bucks

Coming along very nice, As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words" Hope the diagrams are excellent.

I have an extremely vague recollection of building a plastic Junk kit as a very young lad. No idea who made it or if it really happened... Just remember thinking the finished kit was really cool and that the box had a lot of orange on it...
