                        Anyone know what these items are?
                        Best picture I can find is on a model
                        mystery object

                        I have a guess but don't want to influence anyone elses thoughts.

                        Hi! Trabi is 100% correct .

                              On a Schnellboot those were the Smoke generators, on the early ones and some of the Armored cupola ones. Oh! The other thing appears to be a crewman, I think?

                        Thanks guys for the unanimous consensus! I'd never have guessed that, I thought they were maybe compressed air tanks...

                         

                        I'm working on a schnellboot in Blender and couldn't find any decent pictures of those devices googling  just: schnellboot. Hopefully I'll have better luck googling "schnellboot smoke generator"
