Hi!

Listen, this is more for the Newby Ship Builder really. Did you know if you invest in some of the older 1/350 ships from Hasegawa and Tamiya you will get a surprise? When I built Tamiya's Buckley and their Four stack(Buchanon?) destroyer, I discovered something. You can be proud of both models even if you didn't use P.E.

The parts are small and hard to keep away from the carpet monster, So I invested in an apron that clips to the worktop and catches the errant parts. The Bridge structures have very fine detail and that means on the "Buchanon" even the wheelhouse parts for inside are there. Yup, an engine Telegraph and a Wheel and BinnacleAre present and accounted for. The Binnacle may need a wee bit of work to look right, rather than the blob it can sometimes be.

BUT, You can see them when you observe the little ships up close. I specifically don't care for 1/350 because the ships and vessels I am interested are to small in that scale and in 1/700 No Way! I did that with two fishing boats for the museum I used to be part of One in 1/87 and one in 1/160 (Thats "H.O" and "N") No way I am going small ever again!         T.B.
