Mounts on a slim metal bracket on the bulkhad starboard of the duck-under

Over on cox'n's side:

IP detail:

From the cox'n's side over to the jump seat

Resist the urge to "fill up" all that empty space i nthe afte part of the cockpit

For one thing, the fuel filler caps are in the back corners of the transom, and the sand filter access hatches are just forward of those (and aft of the MG mount).

Missions tended to be short, and did not need to look like Okies heading to Cali with all their supplies.  Anything in the various cockpits does need to be lashed down as the PBRs have a lot of get-up-and-go.  Anything not tied down will want to head aft  at a good clip; take a turn and it will relocate side-to-side.  Neither of which are very nice if an ammo can, nor a Mermite full of chow.

I will be a touch passionate about this, as PBR Mk2 were my first job in 1985 as an O-1.

Hi Ed,

Have you slogged through all of the YouTube videos for that kit?

Might be something there.

Those of you who have built this model....would you please post a photo of how the fire extinguisher attaches to the holder in the pilots bulk head.

From the instruction sheet, I can't figure out where it goes.

Thanks

ED
