Well, I have followed any number of folk over to Modelers Social Club

I cannot say it's better nor worse than FSM, and I have mixed feeling about doing so. But, the site does not 504 on me, nor just glitch out.

It very much feels like a betrayal to JTilley and the like, all the other long-timers here.

Is what it is.

It is what it is - yup. With no notifications, etc. Time to go. I cant even post barely! I think also some folks are here: https://forums.kitmaker.com

And the notifications, subscriptions, etc work great. Posting pics too - straight to site

None of the problems we’re having are remotely hard to fix, so I'm thinking most of the ad revenue from these forums is coming from people following Google searches to threads and pictures we've posted over many, many, years and not from members actually interacting. That revenue will keep on coming no matter how miserable the site is to actually use. So jack up the adds, dial down the bandwidth, maximize profits, cut expenses, yada, yada...

Betrayal ?? Many belong to multiple forums,I count at least 6 that I'm part of, some extensively,some less.They all offer different things and experiences,nothing wrong with that.
