Check the model supply websites such as Squadron, Great Models, Hoby Inc. etc. Go into their "ships" catagory and see what interests you. Almost all of the kits are under $30.

Italieri makes decent kits in 1:720 scale. From the Forrestal class thru the Nimitz class. Havent seen an accurate USS Ronald Regan from them yet, but it should be on the horizon soon.

Revell has a lot of US carriers.

If i remember well they have the whole Nimitz class carriers in 1/700.
Think the price was around 20 $ ( 15 € )/ each.

I am a new at modeling and have only built a US carrier and 2 fighter planes a long time ago, they didnt come out the great. Well now i am looking to get back into the hobby and I want to start out by building a Modern US Carrier. The, Search The Forums, feature is not working so i am forced to ask for comments that may have already been asked for before:
I am looking for a good begginer Modern US Carrier kit in the 30 dollar range anyone have any recommendations?
