Actually the Bismarck from paper will be my next project. I'm just finishing up a paper P-51 Mustang from Halinski (1:33)... it's my first forey into paper modeling and it's turning out absolutely amazing.
I just can't decide which paper Bismarck I want to build. They all have pro's and cons. The HMV is 1:250 scale and you can get a $100 photo etch set for it for a total piece count of over 7,000!
The Halinski Bismarck is 1:200, has much better print quality, but you cannot get a photo etch set for it.
The BPM Bismarck is also 1:200 and you can get a very limited photo etch kit as well as aluminum gun barrels for it. The print quality is also very good.
I got to know Ralf at www.lighthousemodelart.com who sells these kits here in Canada and I'm just waiting to see what the GPM one looks like before I make my decision.
The paper models are harder to build then plastic and take alot more time but the end result... well... you can see that the end result is mindblowing.
