Revell Graf Zeppelin, is it a good kit?

No, it has major outline and hull fitting inaccuracies, which are obvious from even a brief look at the published photographs and plans. Many of the details are a bit sad, too, and, as far as I'm aware, there's no PE for it. I had one on my 'waiting to be built' stack for years, and eventually gave it away as a raffle prize. It was won by a kid who didn't careabout accuracy, and was delighted with it.

Thanks for the evaluation. I may wait until a better kit comes along.

I'm in the process of building that now. Yeah, there are some accuracy issues, but the kit is going together well so far. I haven't had any fit problems. The details are very basic though, I think with a little work, they could have come out with a better kit if they tried.

Chris, it may be quite some time before someone comes out with another model. I'd like to see Trumpeter give it a shot though!
