Again, good to see you're still with us.

Yes, Fletcher pics. More specificly DD683 USS Stockham. This project is in the way of the "make-the-house-ready-for-iminent-mini-Mark" project and I'm itching to see her finished. Three months till kidlet, God help me.

Email or AIM me if you need my address again.

Mark

Welcome back! I was starting to wonder after we chatted. I can still look into the Warhawk Museum here if you like....kind of a long commute though.

Hey, Jeff, does this mean that now you'll have enough time to write another one of your legendary editorials over at Modelwarships.com?? We've gone too long without one!

Email on the way. Back from a week in Indiana and ready to get busy.

Is this a Business dress, or casual, "take over the world" meeting?

Glad to hear from you Jeff, sorry about the job, been there too and had happened more than once and always with a job I really liked but seemed so did someone else.

It's good to have you back, Jeff. Now, get cracking and write some good stuff for us.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.

Well Jeff sorry to hear of your missfortune.I too am out of a job and know to well about the politics that gos on in the job market. But on the brightside, look at all the projects that we can do in modeling that we would not have the time otherwise.Digger

Well Devin, I think it's about time we did lunch...I got somethin' in the works that I think you'll want a piece of...

Gimme a shout, or better yet, the missus and kidlet are heading to Rochester this weekend, so hop on the train and we'll plot the takeover of the world...

As for being in a good mood, well, it's the meds (just kidding).

Hey, I think this guy is an imposter. Jeff? In a good mood? I smell a rat!

Glad to see you're posting again. And welcome to the world of limited funds, and unlimited free time!

Dang, do I need a job...

Thanks Dave...it was completely unexpected, but in hindsight, I don't think I want to be associated (or employed) by an organization that condones such policies and tactics. Life is actually better, I'm sleeping at night, those funny chest pains are gone...and I get to sleep in !!

I guess now there's no excuse about writing a few articles for you guys... Smile [:)]

Welcome back, Jeff!

Sorry to hear 'bout the museum. Sounded like it was an excellent position too. That's a shame when politics and who you know (or can bribe) wins over experience and knowledge. Well hopefully you find something better. In the meantime...sounds like you have a busy summer vacation planned. Nothing like getting your mind off things by getting back into one's hobby.

Well, it's been an interesting couple of months, that's for sure. I'm sorry for the lack of communication, I've not returned many of your emails inquiring as to my whereabouts and state of health.

Politics reared its ugly head and outed me out of the museum director business...I won't get into details, but it's a real pity when someone has the ability to "buy" your job...

So I'm now enjoying a prolonged summer vacation, and I'm slowly back into the groove of ship modeling. Currently, I have my 1/350 IJN Tone about 65% done, a 1/500 Myoko about 40%, and a Pit-Road Chokai (WOW, what a beauty of a kit) in 1/700 that I've just started.... no idea why I'm doing 3 different IJN cruisers in 3 different scales, it's just coincidence.

My website is down until I can find a new server (read: free or very cheap) to host my stuff...

Best,

Jeff
