Hey folks!
I know its a bit early, but mark your calendars for November 13th, 2004, as its the 3rd annual NJ Ship Model Exposition in Rockaway, NJ. It'll be held at the lovely White Meadow Lake Country Club, right on the lake.
Last year we had 100 models show up (some very BIG stuff), and lots of folks came to visit. This year we'll be having an RC boat demo, as well as how-to sessions, lectures, and on-going demonstrations.
Bring your models! Admission is $3 for non-exhibitors, $2 for those who bring a model (no limit to the number you can bring). This isn't a contest, just a gathering of ship modelers from around the Tri-State area.
Rockaway is about 45 minutes west of NYC, 30 minutes east of the PA border on Route 80...and about 2 hours from Philly.
