Without looking at the kit (I'm on vacation at present), I would agree that they're mounting plates for the ship's awnings.

I'm home on Sunday, I'll look at my kit and confirm.

Circles on my deck

Hi all,

I'm currently working on the Banner 1/350 scale USS Arizona. I've noticed throughout the lower level deck, there are raised panel circles etched into the deck. At first, I thought they were ejection pin marks, but they have a raised panel look to them. They are also symmetically placed around the deck, perfectly centered on the individual planks, and only on the lower deck. There are probably a few dozen of them.

Does anyone know what these are and are they supposed to be on the model?

Thanks,
Jesse
