Not necessarrily Kerry's Swift Boat, but a 1/35th scale Swift Boat model would be awesome. Would definitaly not build it as Kerry's.

How about Arnold Schwartzeneger as a 1/72-scale Commander for the Revell VIIc?Pirate [oX)]

Mongram also did a Swift boat when they did the RAG boat. They also did a Junk boat.

Here is one made by Jack Carrico, who scratches up all sorts of Vietnam Brown Water Navy crafts. They are awesome.

Or the worst of two, depends on how you look at it.

Surprised we won't see a few pop up over the next year. We modelers are always looking for subjects that will attract attention.

I can see it now at a contest, the best of show will boil down to two models. A model of Kerry's Swift Boat and an F-102 in the markings of the 111th Interceptor Squadron of the Texas ANG.Clown [:o)]

OK, Gang:

Even tho I'm tiredZzz [zzz]of the political election-year "folderolParty [party]," I wonderSign - Dots [#dots]
We've seen models of JFK's PT-109, George H.W. Bush's "Avenger," figures of George W. in his flight suit for the big carrier deck "We've Won"Dunce [D)] announcementBoohoo [BH], etc.

With all the recent "Swift Boat" controversy Evil [}:)]would you like someone to issue a John Kerry and his "Swift Boat" set ?Propeller [8-]Sigh [sigh]

There have been a few relatively expensive resin kits of Vietnam-era riverine warfare boats (including some monitors, swift boats, etc.) Monogram issued a "RAG" Boat several times. Tamiya issued a 1/35-scale "Pibber" and a Seal Craft.

A 1/35-scale "Swift" with crew would be interesting.Whistling [:-^] Perhaps some outfit could even provide P/E accessories (including the "controversial" medals).Mischief [:-,]
