HMS Prince (Airfix Classic Series) in progress pics

An exercise in detail painting- 4 weeks to get this far but it looks cool:

I use a gold paint marker to help with the ornamentation- much easier to get a clean line than a brush. These are great kits...

Len,

She looks great! Are you going to do another write-up for Modeling Madness on this kit?

Regards,

Lufbery-

Yeah I probably will...I put it up here because I know there a bunch of folks here who appreciate ships and especially the age of sail...

Thanks for your note!

A beautiful job on a nice, if rather aging, kit. The best of the Airfix products are among the best on the market. They perhaps don't get the attention they deserve. We'll all look forward to seeing how this one progresses.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Very impressive. I like a lot of gold. Like jtilly said, that is a nice way to represent that old kit.

Can I just say from someone who loves the age of sail and men-of-war but has never had the nerve to try and build one, that looks absolutely fantastic. Can't wait to see her finished!

The photos have been moved or deleted. Can you repost them? I'd love to see your model!
