U Boat Arrived....But

I rec'd the Revell 1/72 scale Uboat from Great Models, complete with "new" packing to protect the bow, but the port side hull half has (had) a 2" crack from the top to mid section. I glued and sanded it, and I think it will not be a big deal.
The ends of the hulls are protected well, but any pressure on the box ends will crack the hull. You would think Revell would get the idea......
