trumpeter's 1/200 sovremenny 956e destroyer

I didn't build it myself. It was 'Niphon' one of my modelers who built both type 956 and 956E. He didn't mention any problem with them so I guess the fitting is good. They come with lot of PE parts, true value for money. They're my most favorite warships. ;)

I built the E version last year.The only difference is the E was built for the Chinese Navy.
A great Kit.Basically shake the box.The PE is superb though the Radar tower will have you reaching for the beer. Strangely the the radar dishes/arrays are in plastic not PE. Aftermarket sets are now available with even more bits to replace.

I have the kit, hope to start it soon...I have the White Ensign PE set as well as the replacement turrets for it, as there are some accuracy issues with the shape of the turret itself.

Lots of small parts...this is not going to be a weekend build, that's for sure.
