With a name like Pacific Front Hobbies, I was thinking Bill was one of those big all in one type hobby shops with tons of worker bees! I didn't know he was a one man operation. Maybe I should go over there and help him out, after all I ain't doin' much here in singapore and I have scouted out all the hobby shops I have heard about or stumbled acrossed during my many endless wondering.
I haved checked them out so often that I have memorized their inventories. If Bill can't afford to pay money, maybe he can pay me with new kits!!!!

Of course there is a side beny to wondering around, the eye candy is exceptionally beautiful. I feel like a fox in a chicken coup!!!!! It's a good thing my wife doesn't read these posts(ha, ha, ha)!!!!

I'm the same way...I'll get in the car and drive for 2 hours to find something I really want, only to come home and promptly put it on the 'to-do' shelf.

Course, recently, I had a bunch of Ebay purchases, and it's kinda cool to get home and find a package waiting for you on the front steps.

I don't know if Bill is sick, real busy, on vacation, or what. But I do know he's a one man operation and he does bust his tail.

Thanks for your response. I have dealt with PFH before on several occasions and the response from PFH was great. I was just wondering why there hasn't been any response this time. If Bill is sick, I certainly hope it's not serious and I wish him him a speedy recovery. I guess I always get a little antsy when I place a mail order because I always want my order right now!!!!

I'm with you Jeff. I have had good service and have found Bill to be very helpful.
Took about a week for my order which is about what Squadron does..

Without knowing what's happening at PacFront, I can tell you that it's a one-man operation. Bill Gruner is an upstanding individual who is at that point in his business that its more than one man can handle, but he's not making enough money to hire a staff (the nature of the hobby industry). Thus, if he's sick, or something like that, then things slow down and a backlog develops.

Give Bill a call and get things resolved. He's a great guy, very personable.

Yes, I've had nothing but problems with them. I don't buy from them anymore. All I can say is Sorry. If it was white ensign paints you were buying. Buy direct from their website. Fast shipping (from england) and great service.

Howdy y'all,

Has anyone dealt with PFH lately?? I placed a couple of orders with them and have not seen any movement nor have I received any response to an e-mail inquiry about an order. Does any one know if PFH having trouble filling orders?I got the usual response that my orders have been received and that's the last I heard out of them. The first order was placed almost three weeks ago.

Any comments???
