                        What model master spray paint color do I use for a Japanese yamato battleship model. The kit directions call for neutral gray but I cant find a spray in that color. Any ideas!!!!!

                        Yamato was painted in Kure Gray, FS# 36176 is very very close slightly darker, so if you drybrush it with a lighter gray you should be ok.

                        I would suggest checking Anatomy of the Ship: Yamato for colors. The tamiya painting suggestions are a bit suspect. If I remember correctly, they even show the aft walkways as per the Musashi.
