thanks guys,
tho- that little area where the boat is sitting is the only area i work in. once in awhile i do a little cleaning, but i always clutter myself into the same spot!

matt- funny you should mention that. i actually delivered it friday. well the guy i built it for had just built a mantle to put it on. and this monday morning at work he said he snapped one of the wires. Laugh [(-D] oh well!

I didn't know that they made a 1/600 Titanic model. You did GREAT for a first time, but Humbrol make a near perfect shade of "White-Star Buff" for the funnels, Pactra makes the color Terra Cotta for the lower hull.

Josh, for your first ship, that's a great job! And yes, you too can be a "ship guy"!
Looks like you've got the right stuff.

Josh, it's a beauty! Thanks for giving me a thread to follow, as I don't come near enough in this forum. I wish I had the courage to get started on one of those!

Reggie, if you want silly putty, go to www.crayon.com. The sell it there in bulk or by the egg.

Josh, that is really a nice job you did. I hope my first ship comes out like that (well, looking as nice, not doing a Titanic so it won't be the same).Smile [:)]
