Ahhhhhhh, the French.
Turn everything into an art form.

There are no words I know of to describe work of that scale, and created with such precision and finese.

Mr. Bello's models are indeed magnificent. I believe he's one of the modelers featured in a French-language book that came out a few years ago called L'Art Modelisme, or something to that effect. An English translation, done by Paul Fontenoy, was published fairly recently; I think the English title is either The Art of the Ship Model or The Art of Ship Modeling. I wasn't able to find a copy on the web; I'm afraid it was an expensive limited edition (which is why I didn't grab one while I had the chance), and probably out of print now. It's worth tracking down a copy in a library. Some of those French modelers do fantastic work.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.
