                        Release Date for Revell 1/48th Swift Boat?

                        I just noticed the Revell ad in FSM for the 1/48th Swift Boat kit # 5031. I went to Revell's site for specifics and the kit is not listed. Does anyone have info on this kit? I hope they'll have it out before Christmas so that I can get it for my father in law who was a swift boat crewman in 68-69.

                        wow! I hadn't seen that.... will have to check out greatmodels.com.. they always list kits early to let ya know they are on their way... I'll let ya know if they have anything. I am interested in it too...

                        found one on ebay... don't know if it is an old mold or not..

                        Hey tho9900,

                        I sent an e-mail to Lawrence Hansen inquiring if the photo of the kit was indeed an indicator that the kit will be re-released or if it was only for the purpose of the advertisement...boy I sure hope that they will. I know a lot of old swift boat sailors who would love another shot at owning one!
