nonslip paint on top of 16" guns on the New Jersey?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 3:05 AM
im planning out my tamiya 1/350 New Jersey build, and i noticed on some reference pictures, there is what appears to be some nonslip paint on the upper surfaces of the main 16" gun turrets. however, looking at some built models on the interent, it appears that the surfaces were painted medium blue. which is correct ? nonslip or medium blue ?
thanks for all your help

I believe you will find the color of the turrets varried over time.

This is what it looks like now:

It's exactly the same....that's the way she appeared operationally, from roughly 1983 onwards.
