Anyone know what mods, or know of any conversion kits I would need to make to model the USS Cavalla, Gato class from WWII? (out of the Revell Gato kit) I saw the conversion kit from nautilusmodels.com for the gato class subs, but was wondering if there is anything more I need to watch for or mod to get the Cavalla (SS-244) basically right... I know as she sits now down the street from me, she is not quite back to her WWII config after several (many) refits after the war, so don't want to use that config as a reference. In fact I just read they plan to do her back into her cold war config... bummer...
Just curious, interested in doing the Cavalla, and maybe next to her a Val or Zero from the Shokaku which the Cavalla sank...
