It took me 18 months to build the ISW/TMW Sumner (pic attached). Granted - I didn't get a full kit. I was only able to get the hull, stacks, superstructure and some assorted other parts. I had to acquire everything else, like the turrets, directors, AA guns and photo-etch, so that added time to the building period. Even if you can get one, I agree with Jeff - go for the YMW Sumner. They are an outstanding company. Their kits are available directly at www.yankeemodelworks.com or from vendors like Pacific Front Hobbies.
