In order to psot pictures you first will need to have them hosted on the Internet(i.e. be able to access them from your browser).
NOTE: many sites don't allow you to remote link to pictures hosted on their site and/or enforce bandwidth restrictions.

Ok, now you got the URL of the image(not the html file or the thumbnail).
Insert that between the following tags in your reply to a topic like this:

and it should appears like this:

EZ-off oven cleaner (the original stuff, not the new environmentally friendly variant) also works well.

Posting photos for this forum is beyond my capacity so far. The subject has come up before; I'll be interested if somebody's got an easy way to do it.

A good, effective paint remover for plastic is (drum roll, please) brake fluid.

Find a metal container (one of those cheap aluminum baking or broiling pans from the grocery works fine) that will hold the part. Put the part in the container and pour in enough brake fluid to cover it. After half and hour or so, hold the part under a faucet and pour cold water on it. Most of the paint will wash right off. If some of it's stuck in the smaller interstices, work it over gently with an old toothbrush. If that doesn't work, give it a second soaking in the brake fluid. If that doesn't work - well, the paint's obviously stuck pretty firmly, so just paint over it with the color you want.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Questions: Posting photos and removing paint

Question 1: I need to know how to post photos on the forum. I finished the Aurora Bonhomme Richard and have been asked to post photos (earlier topic post) but haven't figured out how.

Question 2: I have a rather large piece of a kit that I want to remove the paint and start over. It is a single piece (not parts glued together). What is the best stuff to use that will remove the paint and not attack the plastic like Testors paint thinner does? I need the most effective inexpensive stuff.
