Edmund Fitzgerald

Iron Shipwrights does an Edmund Fitzgerald in 1/350 scale...its a BIG model, $250, and direct order only, so you won't find it in any hobby shops.

i'd originally thought about one in HO scale for an ore dock on my layout, the nrealized it would be huge.

iron shipwrights has a 1/700 kit for $75.00. thats much better price and scale wise. it would be about a foot long, hmm... thats actually a little smaller then i want, but it's better for my skill level.

I actually saw a kit in a Walthers Catalog a few years ago. It came in sections so you could make it the length you want to fit your layout. Came with the bow and the stern and then you added as many mid sections as you want. Don't know if it is still available.
