Well, the package I thought was a u-boat turned out to be some magazine racks but I did get the Revell PT-Boat and the 72nd Dragon LCM(3) with troops along with a couple of 72nd scale tanks so I am not complaining.

What floaty things did you get?

My father-in-law gave me the Armed Virginia Sloop from Model Expo. Now I just need to finish what's on the bench so that I can start playing with my new toy.

Several new pairs of tweezers, a boatload of #11 blades, another boatload of new emeryboard sanding sticks. Stuff you can't locate just when you need a new one.

I bought myself the Revell kit Junker Ju/3m civil flight version. I thought it is a good idea to see how well it measures up when compared to building sailing ships.

The kit is costly (around $35,-) and huge 1:48 (wing span around 60cm). As an upper class idiot I have been destroying the right wing and asked Revell whether they will be that kind to send me some spare parts.

My next interesting ship could be the Beagle from Revell, because Beagle hosted (allegedly) Charles Darwin at one of her cruises.

I once built the Beagle because I had a Beagle dog.Big Smile [:D]
