packfan welcome!!! What scale is it? I am building the Trumpeter Admiral Kuzenetsov aircraft carrier. I have to fix some problems with it before I can continue!! After this, I may start on the Tamiya aircraft carrier!! Keep in touch, I will put some photo's on the forum to show the progress of my current project! Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]Evil [}:)]

Welcome to the club. I never built the Revell, but did once build the Aurora, which is from the same mold. All I can say is that it is a good introductory model since it really doesn't have the mold quality or detail that the Tamiya has, but goes together really fast.

Hi there packfan, welcome to the club. If you are looking for info on this particular ship, check out modelwarship.com or steelnavy.com.

I started to build her, but it's on indefinite hold right now pending a move back to the good ol' US of A.

The only problem I have run in to so far with it though is the hull was warpped when I put the hull pieces together. That was fixed by running a bead of glue around the flight deck, attaching the hull, then turning it over and placing 2 dictionaries on it for weight for a couple of hours while it set up and dried. By the way, I am doing a water line version.

Welcome packfan,
Let me know how it goes. I've been looking at that kit for a little while, haven't quite justified the size to my wife. When I finish 4 of the 6 kits that I have going, then I can get it
