IIRC both ships at the time were returning from far northern Norway to Germany. The photos I've seen indicate that the ships were both in need of a paint job. The paint would be the same as it was in late 1943.

Chasing the ultimate build.

Hello- I'm thinking of building a diorama that features the Prinz Eugen and Leipzig collision that occured Oct. 15th, '44. Have looked at various sources and can't come up with anything definative for their paint schemes. Anyone have a clue how these ships were painted at that time? Any help is appreciated!! Happy New Year- Craig
