I was going only build a small portion of the bow slicing into the hull of the 109. Still working out the logistics. Thanks for everyones assistance.

There's only 1/700 Fubukis at this point in time...in fact, there's only 2 classes of Japanese destroyers in any scale larger than 1/700 that I'm aware of, and those are the 1/350 and 1/200 Akizukis and Kageros from Yankee Modelworks and Nichimo, respectively.

I'm using the Revell 1/72 kit. Should allow for a nice looking wreck. Thanks.

What scale are you working in? I remember that Tamiya did several nice Fubuki-class destroyers in 1/700. I suspect there may be one or more bigger ones on the market, either in plastic from the Japanese manufacturers or in resin, but I don't know for sure.

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Can someone tell me the class of the Japanese Destroyer that ran down the PT-109? I'm working on a diorama of the wreck of the PT-109.Smile [:)]
