Ain't that the truth!
I can get a 1/350 Tamiya Missouri for about $35 USD!

So I thought.
Since Revell stuff is usually about twice the normal overseas prices here in Japan, if you drop one zero on that price tag, it makes it 8,000 yen, or about $76 USD.
That makes more sense!
Still ain't getting it, though!

Thanks for that info.

Question for you knowledgeable shipbuilders:
Is the 1/350 Revell Missouri a collecter's item? I only ask because I saw one at the LHS today selling for 80,000 yen. That's about $760 USD! I suspect there might have been one zero too many on the price tag, but there was no staff around to ask, and I was in a hurry.
Any ideas about this kit?? (Not that I'd pay that much for a "collectible" kit, but I was just curious!)
