Revell 1/400 Queen Mary II in progress pics!

What a great kit this monster is- very well thought out and designed very smartly. It is one of the most enjoyable builds I have ever had- the kind where you can't stop working on it even to eat a meal! My hats off to Revell Germany on this one- and at $70.00- what a true bargain.

Here I am so far:

takes up my whole workbench!!

the bow area:

the stack and lifeboats:

Still have a lot to do - any questions feel free...

Looks like a superb kit and a masterful job of building by lenroberto. I just wish I could convince myself that the prototype - a magnificent piece of technology - was something other than plug ugly. Maybe it's just my senile taste talking, but it seems to me that modern naval architects have lost the ability to design aesthetically attractive ships. The QM2 is far from the ugliest, but....

Youth, talent, hard work, and enthusiasm are no match for old age and treachery.

Looking great!
I've been interested in that ship ever since seeing the two-hour special on the Discovery Channel about it. Amazing ship!
Unfortunately, here in Japan that kit costs over 16,000 Yen, or about $150 USD. Gonna have to pass! All Revell stuff is ridiculously priced over here.

I have the kit also, incredible detail and moulding is a work of art, that's my next project after I finish my Titanic, I think I might try out the cold cathode tubes in this monster!!
