Here's an idea. I haven't tried it myself but you could just glue the three sections in place and buy the mini-wood strips like those used in wood ship models and create a real wood deck. That would cover the panel lines and add more realism to the model

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to join the deck parts together without sanding away the scribed in deck detail? This next thing if for Jeff. Will the 1/350th scale North Carolina from Trumpeter be like all the others with the main deck in three separate parts? It seems that if they can mold a one piece hull they could mold a one piece main deck. Smile [:)]
