Anyone built the new Trumpter Bismark in 1/700?

I'll echo what Jeff says - I have the kit, haven't built it yet. Overall I'm very impressed with the kit except for the decking - both the scribing and the breakdown of the sections. With a little care and some photo-etched, I'm thinking it will build into a super kit, and look great next to a 1/700 Tamiya Prinz Eugen.

If you are thinking of picking this kit up, you won't be disappointed.

I have the kit in-box, and from the looks of things, it appears to be better engineered than the Aoshima and Dragon releases. The only thing I could complain about is the thickness of the deck scribing, it's a bit heavy, but with a subtle instead of intense wash, it should look ok when finished.

My other complaint lies in the splitting of the deck...none of the companies got it right with their respective releases...with the deck being split aft of B turret instead of at the breakwater...the logical spot to do it in order to minimize seams. Same holds true for the after deck section...could have been split at the after secondary turrets, so the seam is under the turret casemate instead of out in the open. Care will have to be exercised when filling and sanding in this area. However, it's still a very very nice kit.
