Squaring up gun ports
Posted by torybear on Sunday, January 30, 2005 9:24 AM
Any suggestions on a good way to square up gun ports on a wooden model? I've drilled the initial hole, but sanding them out and squaring them up has been a pain. Thanks for any suggestions.Smile [:)]

Get yourself a square rasp file, once you've drilled the hole, start working the rasp file into the corners to get your 90 degree angle. After that, you can clean up the opening with a square jeweler's file.

Best,

Jeff
