I' ve got the 1:350 sailing ship SAGRES II Portuguese navy training ship.
It´s poor in details and some pieces don´t fit very well, some are a mistery
how they will fit, but i finished and its looks ok, has many gaps to fill.
Its was a $7 kit.

Hi hylndrfan.

I've never build a LEE kit but saw them in wal-mart and they are motorized kits (at least the Carl Vinson), I think maybe those kits sacrifice some detail or accuracy in order to allow the motor and the batteries inside the ship, let me ask if somebody knows about.

Anybody build any of the Lee 1/700 Plastic ship kits. I was looking to get one of the kits for the USS Eisenhower or Enterprise or Carl Vinson from a shop in Australia. These kits are hard to find here in the US. Anyway I'd like some comments on the LEE plastic kits. They seem to be reasonably priced. Are they Junk? Thanks.
