Which Yamato?
Posted by lolok on Monday, February 7, 2005 8:39 AM
Many years ago I built the humungous 1/200th Yamato but had to abandon it when I got divorced. I am again feeling the urge to dig in to a big Y. I noticed the new/old Doyusha kit in 1/250th which seems a more reasonable size and completeable in my lifetime(Hey,I'm 54 now). I then read on a few sites that the Doyusha is a bit of a dog and that the Arii version is better. Any comments or opinions?
By the way when I enquired about postage here to Warsaw/Poland ,a certain on-line store told me that it wasnot possible to post it to here????
Funny because I bought the 200th from the U.S through an ad that FSM had running for years back in the 80's with no problems, apart from getting that huge box from the customs shed at Heathrow and loading it in the car.
