Kallininn Reaching Completion
Posted by Duke Maddog on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 4:26 PM
That's right. I finally got the superstructure completed on my Kallininn battlecruiser from Trumpeter. Here she is:

Now I just need to finish some deck details and paint her and then I can clearcoat and decal her. So close to being done!

Sweet! I also built the Frunze. That was fun, but there are ALOT of parts! Pace yourself and be careful with tweezers in the small parts. One thing I did was find all the small sub-assemblies and build them, then put them into a box for later. Then when I came to the part where it was time to assemble them and place them on the main assemblies, everything went smoother and faster. just be sure the correct ones go on the correct side of the ship!

When I get this one done, I'll post pics of all three Kirov-class ships together. Then all I have to do is find the Kirov itself, and I'll have all four!
